Select drivers from local storage (automatic update was not working for me) Now give the folder, you just extracted/unzipped. I downloaded apps to check the wifi and I was getting the correct DNS and on the right bands from the wifi networks, but still no internet access. Tried 5-10 networks and they were all the same, 'connected, but no internet access'. Now right click on the device in device manager and select 'update drivers'. Same thing happened to my brother's Sony Xperia XZ Premium, he would also get 'connected, but no internet access'. You have to remove some of the firmware files before flashing if you don't want to wipe your phone, but I didn't care, so I didn't remove any files and just flashed everything. Or google for Sony driver MyDeviceId' Download and unzip the driver. Then just run the Newflasher executable and let it do its thing. There will be nothing on the screen though, that's what confused me.). That should put in flash mode even though you don't get any screen to say it's in flash mode. You just have to turn off your phone then while holding the volume button down connect your phone via USB.
